Tuition is due at the first scheduled lesson each month

Drop off: All students must be dropped off and picked up from their lessons if they are old enough to attend their lesson alone.

Parents and siblings must wait outside in the car or in the lesson studio upstairs, not in the home.

Cancellation/Missed lesson policy

• The teacher MUST be notified by 9:00am on the day of a lesson if a student is unable to attend due to illness or conflict. Preferably 24 hours in advance by phone or email. 

• If the lesson cancellation is due to a health emergency, a makeup lesson will be offered. 

• There will be no make-ups for lessons missed due to forgetfulness.

• If the teacher finds it necessary to cancel a lesson, a make-up lesson will be offered.

•  Any lesson that is not properly cancelled will not be made up. 



Parent/Student responsibilities:

•  * The student is responsible for his or her own instrument, books and sheet music.

• It is the student’s responsibility to purchase all materials needed

• Lesson notebook: Every child must have a notebook for lesson assignments etc. Please make sure that your child brings his/her notebook weekly.

• Please be prepared and on time for every lesson.

• Please unpack your instrument, rosin your bow, and have your music ready. 

• Be respectful that other students are having lessons!
